Slap on a Smile – It’s the Weekend

Happy Friday afternoon all, it’s been a mad week here in the offices, between trying to get more feature-style articles up on the blog and arranging our interview with the Oscar winning Professor Anil Kokoram from Trinity College. Still we’re all well and hopefully everyone else is too. Here are some of the best bits and pieces we’ve encountered on the web over the course of the last week or so… just to see if we can get a bit of a smile from you guys…

We’re not sure why the above managed to gain as much fascination as it did, but I’ve watched it a couple of times right through without the vaguest urge to stop, so we thought we’d post it here to see if it cheers you guys up as much as it did us.

Aside from that, there’s also this, which turned up this week when someone asked about the Facebook page…

Are you on Facebook?

On top of the usual misinterpretations of the name of a popular internet service, someone emailed me this picture of what appears to be an eight year old playing rugby with a llama… or perhaps an alpaca. I admit, I’m not sure what the difference is between a llama and an alpaca.

Poetry in motion

Anyway, it’s probably time for us to do one last thing and say that we hope you guys have an excellent weekend. I had wanted to close on this image, because it basically describes exactly the situation we’re in here at the end of the week…

Sometimes, it's nice to just listen to sage advice.

Have a good weekend guys, hopefully will be back up before too long and we can all go back to not getting quite as much done…

Anyone else predicting horrifying headlines for next week? “ down, productivity up 30%?” Fingers crossed 😉
